About Diplodocus:

Diplodocus, meaning "double beam," was one of the longest dinosaurs ever discovered, reaching up to 88 feet in length! This gentle giant lived during the Late Jurassic Period, about 154-152 million years ago in what is now western North America. Despite its massive size, Diplodocus was relatively lightweight for a sauropod, weighing about 10-16 tons.
