Classic Pork Dumpling Recipe
Filling Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 2 green onions, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions: Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl. Roll out dumpling dough and cut into circles. Place 1 tablespoon filling in center of each circle. Use your Norpro dumpling press to fold, crimp, and seal edges perfectly. Pan-fry or steam until golden and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Serve with soy-vinegar dipping sauce. Makes approximately 20 dumplings.
