The Aladdin Genie II is Aladdin's entry level glass lamp, introduced in 1990. The lamp shape and pattern is similar to that of a lotus blossom or a water lily flower. These lamps do not have filler caps. You need to remove the burner to fill the lamp. This was a safety feature introduced in some versions of Model B lamps to keep people from trying to fill lamps while they were still burning.
Simply Brilliant! Aladdin Lamps are almost magical! Fuel is delivered by high quality wicks, made from cotton that is selected and woven exclusively for us. Air is metered by the precision engineered burner, and supplied in exactly the right places to provide the highest efficiency. A tiny blue flame heats the enclosed mantle, which is engineered to incandesce at high temperatures, to over 1000 degrees, delivering room filling "looks like electric" light. It's silent, powerful and efficient non-electric lighting!
