The Aladdin #R151 Replacement Wick has an average burn time of 100 hours. For use with clear, K-1 kerosene only.
If your lamp's wick is no longer soft and supple, it is time to replace the wick. When wicks have been soaked in kerosene, and then allowed to dry out the kerosene creates a glue like substance which can stick to the moving pieces of your lamp burner. Trying to reuse old wicks that have hardened will lead to poor burning conditions in your lamp.
