Realistic Toy Figurine
Pteranodon head was very long and pointed and it had four toes on each foot and three fingers on each hand. It's name means "toothless wing." This flying reptile could fly high and for long periods of time, however not having any teeth it would prey on fish and swallow their food whole. This Pteranodon figurine measures 6.3" L x 1.2" H.
This flying reptile existed during the late Cretaceous Period, in the area that encompasses present-day Kansas, Alabama, Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Over 1,000 specimens of Pteranodon have been identified to date. Adult males grew to be about 18 feet long, and females grew up to 12 feet in length.
