Falling Up: Shel Silverstein

Gravity may win eventually, but in Shel Silverstein's world it never wins outright. Falling Up is the beloved collection of humorous poems and drawings that continues the tradition of A Light in the Attic, full of silly, sweet, and sneakily clever verses about things falling up, kids who come back, and everything in between. This is the book children read under the covers with a flashlight and the one grown-ups still quote decades later. A perfect gift for young readers, reluctant readers, and anyone who believes poetry should be fun.
