Henny Penny: Paul Galdone

The sky is falling! Or is it? Henny Penny, in Paul Galdone's classic retelling, follows the excitable hen and her feathered friends as they spread the alarm all the way to the fox's den, where a little gullibility goes a very long way. Galdone's lively retelling and expressive pictures have made this a storytime favorite for generations, with a refrain little ones can't resist chiming in on. A wonderful read-aloud gift for preschoolers, teachers, and folk-tale fans.
